Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler reviews Z-grade films, usually horror and martial arts. Similar to The Cinema Snob in that she likes action-oriented films that are dumb. After gaining some fame in the forums of Channel Awesome (under her previous name Obscurus Lupa) She began to review in late 2009. She was on the website until the beginning of 2015 in the year that Obscurus Lupa Presents was transformed into Movie Nights. The presenter hosts two podcasts. One focused on the Charmed Franchise and another co-hosted alongside Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. Brad Jones' film Jesus Bro! was also featuring her. The appearances she made in Midnight Screenings were usually reviews of awful films for kids or RiffTrax as well as occasional adult comedies. In late 2009 she began to review movies, and began to gain a following on Channel Awesome's Channel Awesome forums. She was then accepted into the network's family of movie critics. She has appeared on countless Channel Awesome shows from Atop the Fourth Wall to Phelous & the Movies. She has been a part the team of Channel Awesome along with Doug Walker.
